MK-6550V Polymethacrylate (PMA) Viscosity Index Improvers for Hydraulic Oil
MKC-6550V is a solution of modified polymethacrylate (PMA) in deeply refined mineral oil. Mainly used in top-grade low temperature hydraulic fluids with low pour point and high viscosity index, it can both improve the viscosity index and depress the pour point while ensuring the shear stability. Serving an important role in high-performance hydraulic fluids, it can effectively improve the viscosity index and the low-temperature performance of the oil and also provides outstanding filtering and anti-emulsifying functions.

Suggested Use
Add 1.0%~20.0%wt to the specified base oils. Given the different types of base oils, thickening, viscosity index and pour point tests of the blended oil are required to determine the exact amount of MK-6550V functional polymer needed.
