MK-4242 General gear oil additive agent
MK-4242 is a newly developed universal gear oil additive package. We can use 3.8% of this additive in paraffinic base oils to formulate GL-5 quality grade, 80W-90 viscosity grade vehicle gear oils. We only need 1.5% of the additive to formulate No. 220 heavy-duty industrial gear oils that meet the US Steel USS-224 standard.
Gear Oil Additive Agent Characteristics
MK-4242 is a versatile additive package—we can use it to formulate GL-5 vehicle gear oils of the following viscosity grades: SAE 90, 110, 140, 75W-90, 80W-90, 80W-110, 80W-140, 85W-90, 85W-110, 85W-140. We can also use it to make industrial gear oils with these viscosity grades: N68, N100, N150, N220, N320, N460.

Product indicators
When storing, loading and unloading, and adjusting oil for this product, please refer to SH/T0164. For long-term storage, it is recommended that the temperature should not exceed 60 ℃. Recommended temperature range for blending: 55-75 ℃. This product is non flammable, non explosive, and non corrosive. It is similar to general petroleum products in terms of safety, environmental protection, and use, and does not require special protection.
